Carbon Cliff 03:47
If it weren't for this winter, I could probably find meaning with my life. Too bad I lost it when the snow fell. I wish it would stop. Everything went south like migrating birds with stones tied to their feet. As I drive through Carbon Cliff, I think of where it all went wrong. Wrong. All wrong.
2.
Devoured by the utter fuckery, I wish it would stop right now I'm sick of trying with nothing in return pushing myself beyond the boundary between stars in the sky and the cold hard ground. Cold hard ground.
3.
Fay 04:31
When I was told the news, I was sad but not surprised. I'd rather you be in the sky, than on your deathbed. I was 15 and a careful soul. It seemed like only yesterday. Go to hell, everyone else. I don't give a shit about anyone else. I'll be in my room for just a couple hours. Will I come out? (Who knows) I think about you all of the time. Darkened with me, each and every year. And after that, nothing will be the same Won't be the same

Burn your bridges I'll choose mine Similar fate, both involved I can see it all come down the road Done it seems I can see it all come down the road Done it seems She killed me left me for dead She killed me left for dead left for dead She killed me down the road Done it seems She killed me down the road done it seems Washed away Down the drain Washed away All signs of hope Washed away Down the drain Washed away All hope is gone

about

Fog Eat's The Town Away's first EP. It's name comes from a disorder that many, including over half of the band, has experienced some point in our lives.

Carbon Cliff is about the severe seasonal depression I went through after losing my job in the bitter cold winter of 2016.

Newton's Cradle is a song for people who feel unappreciated and/or brought down despite trying everything to make everyone and themselves happy.

Fay is about the death of my grandfather in 2011 and how standoffish it caused me to be

Have You Seen This Person? is based on a dream that I once experienced

A huge thanks to Nathan Lane and the Island for making this EP possible.
